Bible League Board of Directors Takes Action for Global Expansion
CHICAGO— In 2008 Bible League launched a significant undertaking to train 10 million national Christians worldwide to engage
100 million people in the study of God’s Word through the placement of Bibles and New Testaments by the year 2020. To achieve
this extraordinary vision, VISION 2020, Bible League Board Chairman, James K. Van Drunen says “in this new global economy it
is critical that Bible League strengthens international relationships, grow ministry opportunities and focus even more on developing
new international funding partners around the world. We need to expand our operations, efficiencies and approach so we can
grow our eternal impact. We are taking actions to ensure we have the leadership to achieve VISION 2020 and beyond.”
First, the Board has asked Bible League President Bob Cole to devote his attention to the exploration and cultivation of
international resources. Bob will be focusing on global funding initiatives, strengthening funding partners, building networks, and
engaging potential ministry partnerships.
Second, Jim Van Drunen, on behalf of the Board, is excited to announce a new Chief Executive Officer, Robert Frank. Rob will
lead the structural alignment, global strategies, operational efficiencies, and international strategic alliances with a focus on growth
to reach VISION 2020 and beyond.
“I have spent years in the corporate world,” says Rob, “growing companies internationally. I am excited to use this experience and
knowledge to operate in every region of the world to serve the Lord and further His Kingdom. I fully embrace Bible League Mission
and VISION 2020.”
Rob has a Bachelor of Science from University of Texas with studies in Industrial Management/Technology and two Masters of
Business Administration in Business Finance and International Business Development from Southern Methodist University in
Dallas, Texas.
As a student of global enterprises for over 30 years, Rob has successfully led at companies such as Superior Battery, Fruit of the
Loom, Rawlings Sporting Goods, Lee Apparel Company and Management Group Mid-America. His senior leadership positions
have focused in strategic operations and global leadership. Rob’s career has led him to operate in every region of the world.
We are confident Rob will draw on this rich experience, to lead Bible League teams in successfully heightening operational
productivity and efficiencies, enhancing ministry growth and impact, cultivating strategic partnerships, and providing international
leadership for Bible League.
